Meet the Senior Social Workers of the Wilkins Center

Nancy King, MSW

Director of Clinical Services

Nancy King, MSW is the Director of Clinical Services at the Wilkins Center.Nancy King, MSW is the Director of Clinical Services at the Wilkins Center. She has been a Social Worker with the Wilkins Center for over 25 years, since its inception in 1982. She is an Individual and Group Therapist, as well as a Staff Supervisor.  Ms. King specializes in treating adolescents and adults with anorexia, bulimia, and binge-eating disorder.

Ms. King is on the National Conference Committee of the National Eating Disorders Association.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Eating Disorders and the American Anorexic Bulimia Association.

Ms. King uses an eclectic treatment approach.  She uses a psychodynamic base with a cognitive-behavioral component.  She fosters a safe, non-threatening, and empathetic environment in both individual and group therapies to facilitate a comfortable atmosphere for self-exploration.
